Our class party was a huge success. Thank you to all the parents for making this fun day happen. During class time the children helped to prepare a pumpkin for carving. They cleaned out the inside and perforated the lines to be cut. There were some unsure faces as they touched the slimy insides.

Book Orders are being sent home today. They are due Thursday, Nov. 3.

Soccer Shots is tomorrow. Tennis shoes are the best shoes for this class.

The children had a fun filled day! We decorated foam jack-o-lanterns, colored paper puppets, played pin the eye on the monster, listened to Halloween music, and even worked on a Halloween counting worksheet.

A big “Thank-you” to everyone who helped make our day so fun. The children enjoyed all the delicious snacks and cool treats.

Did you know a bat is a pollinator?

We learned that bats help to pollinate the cacao plant, which chocolate comes from. The children were very excited to hear that bats help “make” chocolate!

The children worked on a parts of bat worksheet that they cut colored and labeled. They were happy to taste some of the bat’s hard work in the form of M&Ms while working on their worksheet.

October 27, 2016 by Nursery One

Hello parents… Happy Thursday! Today we started Arts Alive with crowning our kings and our only queen in our class.. They are wearing their crowns very well as you can see Reed laid back on the boppy pillow, and Sylvia making sure she is being recognized as the queen.

Here are few more pics of them dancing with mommy, and they seen to be enjoting it!

This morning during class time the children reviewed the geometric solids. Many of the children were able to identify the geometric solids.

During Jumpbunch the Children practicied their gross motor skills and coordination by dribbling and shooting hoops.

Arts Alive took us to a pumpkin patch. There we used our imagination to plant seeds and grow the largest pumpkin we could grow.

Tomorrow is dance class.

Tomorrow is our Fall Festival. Please bring your child’s costume to school with them. The teacher’s will help them change after nap. Children must be accompanied by a parent. If you will have another parent pick up your child, please inform us of who will be taking them to the Festival.
