Today we worked with the apple nomenclature lesson in the science area. We learned the names of some of the parts of an apple. We learned an apple has a stem, skin, flesh, seeds, and a core. The children also got to see the actual parts of the apple when we dissected a real apple, they also enjoyed snacking on the apple when the lesson was completed.

The children had a fun time playing jump ball in Jumpbunch class this morning. The children tried to balance and bounce a ball on a circular mat.

Tomorrow is picture day for our class.

This morning during Jumpbunch class the children used a lot of focus and body control to play squishy ball. As you can see in their faces they were determined to keep the ball bouncing on the paddle.

Our lesson this morning was the Apple tree. This lesson helps reinforce or teach counting quantity to 20 and recognition of numerals through 20.

Tomorrow is picture day for the following children. Pictures may begin as early as 8:30.

Caleb, Sarah, Alexandra and Sophie

Tomorrow is also dance class.
