On circle we worked with the lifecycle of an apple lesson in the science area. We learned that it all starts with a seed that grows into a seedling. The seedling becomes a tree filled with buds that bloom into flowers, that lose their petals and then an apple will start to grow.

The children had a fun time in yoga. They tried their best to stay still and quiet as they practiced breathing through their noses.

They also shared their names and favorite colors with Mr. Nick.

We had fun singing in Chapel with Father Art and Ms. Keri Anne. We talked about how things grow.

Hi Everyone!!

We hope everyone is having a fabulous day! This month the children learned about the different seasons and particularly about “The Fall”. We read books and discussed some of the changes that are evident during this time of the year. This morning, we read the book “Johnny Appleseed” and created some beautiful fall trees to go on our classroom board. FYI….Don’t forget it’s Picture Day tomorrow!! Get ready to say cheese!!

Ah, Yoga. What a great way to begin our morning. Yoga class is Wed. mornings beginning at 9:00. Ask your child to show you the Yoga positions they are learning.

During chapel the children heard the story, A Seed of Faith. You can continue this learning experience at home by doing some of the activities found on the Family Information paper that is being sent home with your child today.

Tomorrow is Jumpbunch class. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.
