Fun Friday!!

September 23, 2016 by Nursery One

Hello parents, we hope you’re having a marvelous Friday. Here are a few photos we’ll like to share with all of you!

Please help us welcome Harvey to nursery 1! We are excited to have him here with us.

I’m sure he will make a lot of great memories with all of his nursery 1 friends.

Here we have Sylvia sitting up by herself with a little help of the boppy pillow.

As you can see, she enjoys it! Good job Sylvia!

Story time! Julian and Sylvia are enjoying story time with Ms. Michelle.

The book was “Are you my mother” by P.D Eastman.

We hope you all have a great weekend! See you all back on Monday!

Sequencing is a very important skill for children to develop at an early age. It will help further develop organization skills that they will find important in their future. Can you guess what lesson we worked with this morning during circle time? That’s correct, Sequencing. Here’s an easy activity you can do with your child to help him/her with this skill. Read a story, ask your child to tell you what happened 1st in the story, then what happened next, etc. Then ask them to draw the pictures that match the order of the story.

Monday is music class. This class begins at 9:00.

Have a great weekend!

The children have been working on an All About Me worksheet, we are posting them on their cubbies. Stop and take a look.

On circle we worked with our alphabet flash cards and played a guessing game with the book Clothes like Clues to jobs people do by Kathryn Helling and Deborah Hembrook. The children had fun guessing people’s job by looking at their clothes.

Arts Alive fun!

September 22, 2016 by Nursery One

Hello parents, today our kids had so much fun during Arts Alive! They loved their friend the “Snake”. Except Reed, he wasn’t a big fan of him, or the other few animals that were shown. But that’s ok Reed, we know you still had lots of fun today! They also loved playing the tambourines and were fascinated by the bubbles.
