On circle we worked with our high and low lesson in the math area. We compared picture cards of trees, stools, and ladders, we classified them into high and low. We also saw tall and short as Conor and Daniella helped us compare their height.
The children had a great time playing bean bag tossing games in Jumpbunch class. They tossed them into buckets, hoops, and mats.
The toddlers had a busy day today! Here are a few of them doing excellent work!
This morning the children enjoyed working with puzzle picture cards of items found around the house. This lesson helps to expand vocabulary and recognition of what the written word looks like for a certain item. A fun activity to do at home is to see how many items your child can identify within the home.
Jumpbunch class was a lot of fun. The children used their gross motor skills and their eye/hand coordination playing a game of bean bag toss. Ask your child if they were able to throw their beanbag into the bucket.
Lets play a game of I Spy. Can you find the lizard on this tree? The children were able to spy it quickly during morning play time.
Tomorrow is dance class. Children may come dressed in their dance clothes.

Reagan, Clark, Xavier, Sadie, Davis, and Carter worked in the math area with numeration(1-10) and comparing. Tate and Conor worked with phonetic sounds in the language area. Emma and Gabriel worked with the pink tower and color matching in the sensorial area. Ava and Daniella worked on their fine motor skills with a days of the week tracing worksheets. Thomas and Cate worked with lacing and spooning lessons in the Practical life area. Peggy worked with the continent map learning about the continents.
Hi There!
Today during circle time, Ms Avelon read the book “ Apples.” The children learned about the parts of the apple and, that there are many different types of apples. We also discussed how an apple tree grows from a tiny seed into a bountiful apple tree. During arts and crafts the children worked on their individual apple collage, and did a splendid job.
