Friendly play

September 12, 2016 by Nursery One

Good afternoon parents, today nursery one would like to share some random pics that we have taken.

Everett and Leighton are just playing around on the play mat. By the looks on their face it seems like they

have gotten into some mischief, can you guess who flipped the play mat sideways?

And here we have Reed, He is doing his tummy time and he doesn’t seem to be too happy about it.

Don’t worry Reed. You will thank nursery 1 teachers once you start moving around the classroom!

We hope you enjoy all our nursery 1 pictures, we try our best to capture them in their special and funny moments.

Today in Music Mr. Jason took us for a drive in a car!!

We Explored Yodeling through Metal Rock and Roll

We discussed Music in song with Jacque the Skunk.

Then we sang our own Rock and Roll selection while

making Music with “egg shakers.” We danced a little also.

We always have such an amazing time with Mr. Jason.

Happy Monday to All!

Welcome Back!

We started our day singing and dancing with Mr. Jason in music class. He brought along Jacque the skunk and his flute that he played for us and a frog who showed us how to jump as we played Five Green Speckled Frogs.

If you have not signed up for the Fall semester and would like for your child to attend please stop by the front desk for more information.

We worked in our math area with our large, medium, and small lesson, comparing and sorting picture card of objects by size.

Today during music class, we had so much fun singing songs about silly faces, pizza, and driving to Minneapolis. Mr. Jason also brought in Jack our friend the skunk to help us learn about different types of rock music. Ask your child which song was their favorite?

Book orders are being sent home today. They are due Thursday, Sept. 15. Please ask your child for them, they are in his/her backpack.

If you have not turned in your parent activity questionnaire from orientation, please do so. We are still in need of several of them.

Tomorrow is Soccer Shots. This class begins at 10:30.

Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.
