Hello Parents!
Please remember to label your child’s belongings (sippy cups, bottles, extra clothes, bedding) with their first and last name. This will help us to easier identify items and will also reduce any confusion about mixed up items. Items that are labeled will make it easier to return them to their owner. Thank you in advance!
On circle we worked with the lifecycle of an apple lesson in the science area. The children helped to sequence picture cards of the growth of an apple from a seed to an apple tree.
The children painted their hands to create apple prints! They turned out very nice, take a look at all the apples in our classroom.
Reminder: Scholastic book orders are due this Friday, September 2, 2016. You may write one check for both book clubs. Please make out checks to: Scholastic Book Clubs.
This morning the transitioning children enjoyed their time upstairs. They were able to nap and have afternoon playtime with us. Everyone is doing a fantastic job of transitioning into Kindergarten.
Tomorrow is Jumpbunch class. The Kindergarten children go at 10:30. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.
Chapel begins next week. The Kindergarten children will attend chapel at 10:30 on Wednesday’s. Please make sure they have an updated permission form filled out on whether they will be attending chapel or not. If you need a new form, please stop by the front desk for one.
GYMNASTICS SEASON KICK OFF!!!

The children had a great time during today’s Soccer Shots demo.
Soccer Shots classes begin next Tuesday. If you would like your child to attend and have not registered please feel free to do so. Please stop at the front desk for more information on Soccer Shots as well as all the extracurricular activities.
