Do you know the name of the largest country in South America?

We looked at a map of South America and discovered that Brazil is the largest country on the continent. We used our tablet to learn about Brazil. The children were excited to see pictures of the Amazon River, animals of the rainforest, children of the amazon, the Brazilian flag, and some of the homes.

The children had a fun time in Jumpbunch class. Coach Adrienne brought in foam disk for the children to practice throwing them.

Did you know that a globe is a model of our Earth?

We reviewed the continent map as well as working with the colored globe to locate and name the continents. One of the continents we talked about was South America and the country of Brazil.

Do you know what games are going to be played in Brazil starting this Friday? We talked about the Olympic games and some of the sports that are played during the games.

Cameron is working with the continent map. He is labeling the continents with name cards.
