During Jumpbunch class the children enjoyed playing a game of Duck, Duck, Goose. Go to the attachments and take a look at the short video of them having a good time.

Did you know that paper is made from pulp made from trees?

Today we worked in the language area with a lesson using go-together and sequencing. We used picture cards of a cow, sheep, wheat plant, cotton plant, tree, flour, bread, cheese and butter, shirt, sweater, yarn, milk, and thread to put the cards that go together to sequenced them to show us how paper, shirts, sweaters, bread and cheese and butter are made.

We are continuing to review the alphabet using our alphabet flash cards saying the names and sounds of each letter. The children are very excited to discover the names and sounds of the letters in their names.

Today we worked with the fewest to most lesson from the math area. We graded picture cards of chicks, apples, candles, and pencils from fewest to most. The children helped to illustrate the concept by getting into groups that had fewest to most.

We read the book The Crayon Box that Talked about a box of crayons that did not get along until they were bought and taken home to create a beautiful picture together. We talked about being kind and using our kind word, kind hands, and kind faces with each other.

During music this morning the children enjoyed listening to Mr. Jason play the Jumbo drum and getting a chance to play it themselves. Ask your child to tell you more about their fun music class time.

Tomorrow is soccer shots. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.
