The theme for this summer is DINOSAURS! The children are very excited to discover the new lessons and free work that will be available throughout the summer.

Our room was abuzz with busy children. The children worked on all areas of the class and the new lessons that have been presented.

We reviewed some of the signs for please, finished, help, more and wait. The children are enjoying “talking” without using words.

The children had a great time stretching with Mr. Nick in yoga.

On circle we introduced a new lesson for our practical life area. The children were eager to work with our new seed exploration and bug finding lesson. The children use tongs to tong out bugs out of the bird seed and use a magnifying glass to closer observe the seeds and bugs!

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend.

The children were eager to try our object scrubbing lesson in our practical life area. They were excited to scrub our new object: a rubber duck.

We shook the rainy day blues away with a Fun Fiesta in Arts Alive Class. The children played the maracas, flew like birds, danced and caught stars as our fiesta came to an end. We are sure to continue our fun in music class this afternoon.

We reviewed the facts we learned about the lifecycle of a butterfly and learned a new fact. Do you know the first thing a caterpillar eats after it hatches? We learned that the first thing a caterpillar eats is its egg shell. The children had fun creating the lifecycle of a butterfly using different types of pasta.
