The children enjoyed yoga this morning. They have fun practicing the yoga moves Mr. Nick shows us, their favorite is still when they get to practice breathing while taking a minute nap.

We have been working on an art project that we got to use forks to make tulips. The children thought it was cool to use a fork as a paint brush. Keep an eye out for their art work.

Today we reviewed the needs of a seed and worked in the science area with the lifecycle of an apple seed lesson. We learned that a seed sprouts into a seedling that grows into a tree that grows buds that bloom into flowers that give us fruit.

The children were excited to have Soccer Shots today! They had a great time practicing their drills and playing soccer. One of our friends even scored a goal!

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend.

The children enjoyed sharing stories of all the fun they had going to the Rodeo, riding rides at the carnival, petting and feeding animals, and going to the movies.

On circle we reviewed the names of the four seasons. We learned that a new season was starting today! Our new season is Spring.

We are looking forward to the fun that awaits us in music this afternoon.

We had a great day. We reviewed the facts that we learned about Ireland and watch a Geography Kids video about Ireland: https://youtu.be/OLrWRPBO3iY . We worked on a shamrock art project, had a yummy snack( mint Oreos) that our friend Reis brought in to share and wondered if we would get a visit from a leprechaun!

Do you know where plants come from? We learned that all plants come from seeds. We read the book “How a Seed Grows” by Helene J. Jordan and discovered that some seeds grow fast and some grow slow, we also learned that a seed needs light, air, and water to grow.

Take a look at the our pots of gold and rainbows the children have been working on. They had a great time using watercolors to paint the rainbows.

The children had a great time stretching with Mr. Nick in yoga class this morning.
