On circle we worked in the language area with two opposite lessons: in front of and behind, and on and under. The children sorted and categorized picture cards of objects and people who were in front of and behind and on and under.

The children are very excited for this afternoon’s parade and to throw beads down to everyone after the parade!

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend!

The children enjoyed playing an animal guessing game on circle and reviewing our Spanish vocabulary words for the month.

We went to a rodeo in Arts Alive class! The children dressed as cowgirls and cowboys, did tricks with lassos, rode horses, and danced with friends. We are looking forward to the fun that awaits us in music class

Tomorrow is our Mardi Gras Parade, the parade will begin at 4:00p.m.

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a good weekend!

We presented a new tonging lesson in the practical life area. The children got to use tongs to pick hearts out of a box filled with crinkled paper. The children are enjoying the lesson.

The children have been having fun decorating the class with art projects, take a look at their work around the class.

We had a fun time skating during the Arts Alive Winter Olympics. We are looking forward to the fun in music class this afternoon.

On circle we reviewed the lessons presented this week as well as our Spanish vocabulary words. The children are enjoying learning the new words.

We read the book What Am I? An animal guessing game that the children enjoyed listening to different hints and clues and guessing the animals. We worked on our listening skills as we played bingo. We listened to the objects being called out and tried to find them on our playing cards.
