November 6, 2017 by Primary One

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend.

Did you know the Earth moves in two different ways? We talked about the time change and learned that the Earth moves in two different ways. Rotation, when the Earth turns on its axis and gives us day time and night time and revolution, the Earth’s journey around the sun bringing us the four seasons. Rotation takes one day and revolution takes one year. We also learned that with our time change our days are going to be shorter and our nights longer.

During our worktime we worked on our order, coordination, concentration, and independence with our acorn sorting lesson as well as other lessons in our practical life area. The children were excited to see the new transfer items in the lessons.
